Dr. Mitch Josephs appointed to Medical Board of US News and World Report
Mitchell A. Josephs, DDS, has a cosmetic and dental implant practice with an emphasis on complex crown and bridge reconstruction and porcelain veneers. A 1988 graduate of McGill University in Montreal, Josephs completed his dental medicine residency in his hometown at Beth Israel Medical Center and Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City .. After completing his residency, he practiced in Manhattan’s Central Park West, where he continued to perfect his skills and education in the field of cosmetic dentistry and Implant surgery.
In 1992, Josephs obtained his current practice in Palm Beach by assuming leadership of the practice from Dr. Sam Mallamo, who started the practice in 1958. He attributes his success to a combination of state-of-the-art technology, personal care and a “fantastic” staff.
Dr. Josephs is part of the staff at the JFK Medical Center in Palm Beach County, FL. He is also a faculty advisory board member at McGill University’s Faculty of Dentistry. He invented The Strength Clench, a mouth guard for weight lifters. And performs pro bono dental work on Holocaust survivors living below poverty level.
For 15 years, Dr. Josephs has hosted “Tooth Talk,” a live call-in radio show on dentistry, on AM WBZT 1230. Josephs has been a contributing columnist for various publications, including Palm Beach Post, Palm Beach Daily News and South Florida Business Journal. He has had articles published in The New York Times, Glamour Magazine, Men’s Health and Muscle and Fitness. Additionally, he has made several TV appearances on News 12 Westchester ‘Morning Addition,’ News 12 Connecticut’s ‘The Exchange,’ South Florida’s WPEC Channel 12 and WPTV Channel 5.During Covid, 2022 he appeared many times on WPTV NBC News.
