Question: I am about to get rid of my upper denture and replace a few lower teeth with implants. I am confused about my options. I see “hybrids,” “Hybridge,” “teeth in a day,” “teeth in a week,” “Snap-On dentures,” “bridges,” “screw-on,” “cemented-on” and a bunch of other stuff! Please help.
Answer: Too many choices can be counterproductive in making decisions — hence, the comeback of arranged marriages with matchmakers: “Susan, this is Bob. See you next Saturday at the wedding. We take all credit cards.” And then there’s the auto industry; wayyyy too many choices with their model lineups: “Are you looking for the “Terminator X, Terminator XL, Terminator XLE?” I actually overheard an ophthalmologist during a consultation doing the same with lenses to be inserted in a patient’s eye during cataract surgery.
